WHAT’S ON
Fragments of Poe.
The Poe Saga is an immersive and ambitious long-term dance theatre project exploring some of the greatest tales by Edgar Allan Poe, framed by the aesthetic of queer artist Aubrey Beardsley. It combines film and spectacular dance theatre and is suitable for traditional and non traditional settings.
Fragments of Poe is an intriguing, “utterly brilliant” evening of dance and film that whets the appetite with pre- or post-show discussions and engagement programmes. It premiered at Durham Fringe Festival on July 25th and is available to book. Perfect for small venues, festivals, book nights and Hallow’een!
“This project looks amazing! A project exploring the fantastical, deliciously disturbing and internally eventful work of Poe. Wonderful.”
— Claire Webster, Saaremets Artistic Director, Skimstone Arts

REVIEW
“Even without a deep knowledge of Poe’s stories, the essence of gothic horror imbues every moment, from subtle quivers and convulsions to full-bodied swoops and lurches.”
